Our Stained Glass Windows

Our Stained Glass Windows

Carlisle United Church is blessed with a collection of beautiful stained glass windows depicting the life of Christ, and several other windows that are deeply meaningful to our beliefs.

In 2021, Arlene Munro and Cathy Moulder created a book which describes these windows and the individuals who are memorialized by them. This website is based on their work.

List of Services

  • Make A Joyful Noise Unto the Lord

This window is located on the south side of the sanctuay, in the choir loft.

It was dedicated in 1999 in honour of Marian Sherk, a choir member.

  • The Annunciation

The Annunciation window records the visit of an angel to Mary, foretelling of Christ's brith. This window was dedicated in memory of Elmer and Laura Adamson and Ray and Pearl Blagdon in 1986.
